WR-META COMMUNITY RULES & TERMS OF USE

Last updated: October 20, 2026. These rules apply to WR-META at wr-meta.com, its community features and, where applicable, related WR-META services. Please read them before creating an account, posting content or communicating with other members.

WR-META is an independent, community-oriented resource about League of Legends: Wild Rift. It is not an official Riot Games service and is not endorsed by Riot Games. Game names, characters, artwork and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

1. ACCEPTANCE AND SCOPE

1.1. By selecting Accept, registering an account or using an account, you agree to follow these Community Rules. Visitors who do not register must also respect applicable rules when using public areas of the web app.

1.2. These rules cover user profiles, avatars, profile backgrounds, comments, reactions, ratings, private messages, friend requests, community builds, other community submissions and any future feature that accepts user-generated content.

1.3. Additional conditions may apply to particular features or paid services. If a provision conflicts with mandatory consumer or privacy law, that law takes precedence.

2. ACCOUNTS AND IDENTITY

  • Register only if you are legally permitted to use the service. If you are a minor, obtain parent or guardian permission where required by law.
  • Provide accurate registration information and keep your password and account access secure. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.
  • Do not impersonate another member, a moderator, WR-META staff, Riot Games personnel, a public figure or an organization. Do not use a deceptive username, avatar or profile design.
  • Do not create additional accounts to evade restrictions, manipulate ratings, harass others or obtain benefits dishonestly.
  • Notify WR-META through the feedback form if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. RESPECTFUL COMMUNITY CONDUCT

Criticism of a champion, build, balance decision, play style or argument is welcome. Personal attacks are not.

  • Disagree with ideas, not a person's identity or dignity. Avoid insults, baiting, repeated hostility, humiliation, dogpiling and deliberate provocation.
  • No harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, intimidation, extortion or encouraging other people to target a member.
  • No hateful or dehumanizing content, discriminatory abuse or calls for violence based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected characteristics.
  • No sexual harassment, unwanted sexual messages, coercion, persistent flirting after a refusal or pressure to share private information or images.
  • Respect requests to stop contacting someone, rejected friend requests and any block or privacy controls. Do not evade them through alternate accounts or other users.
  • Do not organize coordinated harassment, brigading, vote manipulation or attempts to drive someone out of the community.

4. MATERIALS THAT MUST NOT BE POSTED

The following are prohibited anywhere user content can appear, including text, images, videos, links, embedded media, usernames, bios, private messages, avatars and profile backgrounds:

  • Pornography, nudity or sexually explicit content, including explicit anime or game-character artwork, sexualized profile images and sexually explicit advertising. Sexual content involving minors or representations of minors is strictly prohibited.
  • Non-consensual intimate images, sexual exploitation, sexual violence, voyeuristic material, or threats to disclose private intimate content.
  • Graphic gore, real-world cruelty, glorification of serious violence, or imagery intended primarily to shock or distress.
  • Credible threats, instructions or encouragement for violence, terrorism, organized hate or other illegal activity.
  • Personal information shared without permission: addresses, phone numbers, private correspondence, identification documents, payment details, passwords, precise locations or other identifying data. This includes information about yourself that could put you at risk.
  • Malware, phishing, scams, fraudulent offers, credential harvesting, suspicious downloads or instructions intended to compromise accounts or devices.
  • Spam, mass unsolicited messages, repetitive promotions, deceptive referral links, unauthorized advertising and attempts to redirect members to unsafe services.
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights; pirated paid material; leaked confidential information; or material you are not entitled to distribute.
  • Misleading manipulated media, fake screenshots, fabricated announcements or AI-generated impersonations presented as authentic.

Moderators may remove borderline or otherwise unsafe content if its presentation, context or repeated use harms the community, even when an exact example is not listed above.

5. AVATARS, PROFILE BACKGROUNDS AND PROFILE DETAILS

  • Choose a username, avatar, biography, profile background and external profile links suitable for a general gaming audience.
  • Profile backgrounds are not exempt from the rules. Do not upload pornography, nude or highly sexualized images, graphic violence, hateful symbols, illegal content, deceptive impersonations or other prohibited material as your background.
  • No explicit cropped images, blurred pornography, concealed text or other tricks designed to bypass content restrictions.
  • Use images you created or have permission to display. Game-related art and screenshots must be used consistently with the relevant rights holders' rules.
  • No embedded advertisements, QR-code scams, fake system notices or misleading “official” badges in profile pictures or backgrounds.
  • Profile images may be resized, optimized or converted by the web app for performance. Meet the upload format and size limits displayed by the feature.
  • Only publish information you are comfortable making visible to other visitors. Privacy controls for presence, friends and read receipts do not make publicly posted material confidential.

6. CHAMPION BUILDS, GUIDES AND COMMUNITY SUBMISSIONS

  • Publish builds, rune pages, skill orders, matchups, tips and champion discussions in the appropriate category and for the intended champion and role.
  • Use clear, descriptive titles and accurate patch, lane and champion information. Distinguish your own experiments, predictions and personal opinions from measured game statistics.
  • Do not present a build as an official WR-META or Riot Games recommendation unless it genuinely is one.
  • Do not deliberately publish fabricated win rates, false rankings, copied guides presented as original work or deceptive material intended to manipulate other players.
  • Respect formatting tools and upload limits. Do not inject HTML, scripts, malicious markup, hidden advertisements or disruptive content into editors.
  • Do not submit duplicate, near-identical or low-effort posts repeatedly to farm activity, rewards or visibility.
  • Community builds may be reviewed before publication. Approval is not a guarantee of competitive quality or factual accuracy. Editors and moderators may request corrections, reject a submission or remove it.
  • Information about champions not yet released in Wild Rift is preliminary. Label speculation clearly and do not present another game's mechanics as confirmed Wild Rift data.

7. COMMENTS, RATINGS AND REACTIONS

  • Keep comments relevant to the article, champion, build or discussion. Constructive criticism and differing gameplay opinions are welcome.
  • Do not use comments for personal feuds, repeated insults, flooding, off-topic spam, harassment or advertising.
  • Use likes, dislikes and ratings to express genuine opinions. Do not manipulate them with alternate accounts, coordinated voting, bots or rewards.
  • Follow any technical restrictions on links, attachments and formatting in the comment editor. Do not disguise prohibited links to bypass them.
  • Do not assume a comment is private. It may remain visible until edited or removed in accordance with web app functionality and moderation decisions.

8. PRIVATE MESSAGES, FRIENDS AND SOCIAL FEATURES

  • Private messages and friend requests must follow the same rules as public comments.
  • Do not send unsolicited promotions, scams, explicit material, repeated unwanted messages, threats or requests for credentials, payments or private photographs.
  • Respect declined requests, removed friendships, blocked contacts and profile privacy preferences. Do not attempt to circumvent another user's choices.
  • Do not publish screenshots or contents of private conversations without the participants' permission, except where necessary to report abuse or comply with law.
  • Messaging and visibility settings may change what other members see. They do not guarantee anonymity, absolute secrecy or immunity from legitimate moderation and legal requests.

9. COPYRIGHT, CREATOR RIGHTS AND GAME ASSETS

9.1. You retain the rights you own in original material you submit. By posting it, you grant WR-META a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, reproduce, format, resize, convert and publicly display that material as necessary to operate the service and show your contribution to other users.

9.2. This permission is limited to operating and presenting WR-META and does not transfer ownership of your work. Removal requests and data deletion are handled according to applicable law, the web app's technical capabilities and the Privacy Policy; copies already shared or lawfully retained may not disappear immediately.

9.3. You are responsible for having the rights to material you upload. Do not repost someone else's guide, artwork, video, portrait or paid content without permission or a valid legal basis. Credit alone does not replace permission.

9.4. WR-META uses third-party game names and assets for fan information and discussion. The relevant intellectual property remains with its respective owners.

10. AI-GENERATED AND MANIPULATED CONTENT

  • AI-assisted artwork, text and builds may be submitted when they meet the same quality, safety and intellectual-property rules as other content.
  • Disclose AI generation or substantial manipulation when omission could mislead others about authenticity, game data, authorship or an actual person's words or actions.
  • Do not create deceptive staff endorsements, fake game updates, impersonations, non-consensual intimate media or misleading screenshots.
  • Moderators may ask for clarification or remove misleading or low-quality automated submissions.

11. ADVERTISING, LINKS AND COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY

  • Do not advertise products, sell accounts, solicit money, promote gambling, insert affiliate links or recruit members to third-party services without WR-META's permission.
  • Do not conceal sponsorships or paid endorsements in user posts. Any authorized promotion must be clearly identified and follow applicable law and web app requirements.
  • Do not use the web app to trade stolen accounts, illicit goods, cheats, malware or other prohibited services.
  • Links and resources outside WR-META are operated by their respective owners. Use caution when visiting them.

12. FAIR USE OF THE SERVICE AND SECURITY

  • Do not attempt unauthorized access, exploit security vulnerabilities, bypass access restrictions, scrape at disruptive scale, flood requests, attack the service or interfere with other members' accounts.
  • Do not use bots, scripts or multiple accounts to mass-publish content, inflate engagement, collect private data or abuse community features.
  • Do not distribute exploits or tools intended to steal accounts or attack WR-META or other players.
  • Report suspected vulnerabilities privately via the feedback form instead of exploiting or publicly disclosing them before they can be addressed.

13. PRO MEMBERSHIPS, BENEFITS AND COMMUNITY REWARDS

13.1. Free and paid features are provided according to the current membership description presented when access is offered. PRO membership, ad-free benefits and other entitlements do not exempt anyone from these rules or guarantee publication of a submission.

13.2. Payments or memberships handled by third parties may also be subject to those providers' terms. Cancellation, refunds and statutory rights are governed by the applicable offer, provider terms and law. These rules do not remove any non-waivable consumer rights.

13.3. If community activity or achievements grant benefits, those benefits may be withheld, corrected or revoked if earned through spam, duplicate accounts, manipulation or other abuse. Community rewards have no cash value unless explicitly stated otherwise.

14. REPORTING, MODERATION AND ENFORCEMENT

14.1. You may report problematic material through an available report control or the feedback form. Include the relevant page or message context where possible. Do not publicly post personal data or sensitive evidence.

14.2. Depending on severity, context and previous violations, WR-META may edit or hide content, remove an image or background, reject a build, restrict community features, issue a warning, temporarily suspend an account or permanently ban it. Serious safety violations may lead to immediate action.

14.3. Moderation decisions may take account of repeated conduct and efforts to evade earlier restrictions. Possession of a PRO membership does not prevent moderation. Unused benefits or payments are handled under the applicable terms and law.

14.4. If you believe a decision was mistaken, contact us through the feedback form. Describe the issue calmly, provide relevant facts and do not harass moderators or other members.

14.5. WR-META does not guarantee that every user submission is reviewed before appearing. We may investigate reports using information lawfully available to us and take action where appropriate.

15. PRIVACY AND ACCOUNT REMOVAL

15.1. Read the Privacy Policy for details about how personal data is handled. Do not post another person's personal information without a lawful basis and appropriate permission.

15.2. You can find information about account and personal-data deletion on the Account and Data Deletion page. Some data may be retained when required or permitted by applicable law.

15.3. WR-META cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, the accuracy of community advice or specific outcomes in gameplay. Use builds, statistics and opinions for informational purposes and exercise your own judgment.

16. UPDATES AND CONTACT

16.1. These rules may be updated to reflect new community features, security needs or legal requirements. The revision date will be updated, and important changes will be communicated where appropriate or legally required. Continued use after applicable notice may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.

16.2. Questions, reports, appeals or copyright concerns may be sent through the WR-META feedback form.

Our goal is a community where players can share ideas, improve their Wild Rift knowledge and participate without harassment, scams or unsafe content.

Agreement to the Privacy Policy. By accepting these Community Rules, you also confirm that you have reviewed and agree to the WR-META Privacy Policy & Terms of Service, which applies to WR-META as one web app, whether accessed through a browser or the mobile application. Separate consent to optional data uses, where legally required, will be requested independently.
