VARUS Adc-line Build Details

If you want to use this VARUS Adc build, you should take Flash Flash (Teleport a short distance) and Exhaust Exhaust (Exhausts target enemy champion, reducing their Movement Speed and their damage dealt) as your Summoner Spells.

For runes, you should pick First Strike First Strike (Obtains gold and bonus damage when initiate deals damage.) as your keystone, followed by Brutal Brutal (Attacks deal bonus damage to enemy champions.), Coup de Grace Coup de Grace (Increases damage dealt to enemy champions with low Health.) and Legend: Alacrity Legend: Alacrity (Gains Attack Speed.) in the primary tree, as well as Bone Plating Bone Plating (Reduces incoming damage.) in the secondary tree. Above you can see possible options for replacing runes.

Start your build with Long Sword Long Sword. Next, you should pay attention to whether your mobility champion is enough, our further actions will depend on this. If it is hard for you to dodge the enemy’s skills or you want to roam on neighboring lines, then it is better to buy Boots of Speed Boots of Speed at an early stage. Finally, for your items, you should build Manamune Manamune (Converts Mana to Attack Damage) as your first item, followed by Boots of Dynamism Boots of Dynamism (Grants Attack Damage and Armor Penetration) (sometimes it will still be better to build a boot as the first item, which significantly increases the mobility of your champion) the third key element in our build is Essence Reaver Essence Reaver (Attacks restore Mana, Crit Rate increases Ability Damage).

If you want to use this VARUS APC DUO build, you should take Flash Flash (Teleport a short distance) and Exhaust Exhaust (Exhausts target enemy champion, reducing their Movement Speed and their damage dealt) as your Summoner Spells.

For runes, you should pick Lethal Tempo Lethal Tempo (Attack faster with each consecutive attack.) as your keystone, followed by Gathering storm Gathering storm (Damage output increases over time.), Giant Slayer Giant Slayer (Deals more damage to an enemy champions the more bonus Health they have.) and Legend: Bloodline Legend: Bloodline (Gains Omnivamp.) in the primary tree, as well as Bone Plating Bone Plating (Reduces incoming damage.) in the secondary tree. Above you can see possible options for replacing runes.

Start your build with Amplifying Tome Amplifying Tome. Next, you should pay attention to whether your mobility champion is enough, our further actions will depend on this. If it is hard for you to dodge the enemy’s skills or you want to roam on neighboring lines, then it is better to buy Boots of Speed Boots of Speed at an early stage. Finally, for your items, you should build Nashor's Tooth Nashor's Tooth (Attacks deal bonus damage) as your first item, followed by Boots of Mana Boots of Mana (Grants Ability Power, Magic Penetration and Mana Regeneration) (sometimes it will still be better to build a boot as the first item, which significantly increases the mobility of your champion) the third key element in our build is Riftmaker Riftmaker (Ramping Damage).

VARUS's Lore

One of the ancient darkin, Varus was a deadly killer who loved to torment his foes, driving them almost to insanity before delivering the killing arrow. He was imprisoned at the end of the Great Darkin War, but escaped centuries later in the remade flesh of two Ionian hunters—they had unwittingly released him, cursed to bear the bow containing his bound essence.
