Every few seconds, Nocturne's next attack strikes surrounding enemies for bonus physical damage and heals himself. Nocturne's basic attacks reduce this cooldown.

DUSKBRINGER

(Q) DUSKBRINGER

Nocturne throws a shadow blade that deals damage, leaves a Dusk Trail, and causes champions to leave a Dusk Trail. While on the trail, Nocturne can move through units and has increased Move Speed and Attack Damage.

SHROUD OF DARKNESS

(W) SHROUD OF DARKNESS

Nocturne empowers his blades, passively gaining Attack Speed. Activating Shroud of Darkness allows Nocturne to fade into the shadows, creating a magical barrier which blocks a single enemy ability and doubles his passive Attack Speed if successful.

Nocturne plants a nightmare into his target's mind, dealing damage each second and applying fear to the target if they do not get out of range by the end of the duration.

TIPS: Finally, for your items, you should build Youmuu's Ghostblade Youmuu's Ghostblade (Increases Movement Speed) as your first item, followed by Plated Steelcaps Plated Steelcaps (Reduces Physical Damage) or Mercury's Treads Mercury's Treads (Reduces Magic Damage) depending on the situation. (sometimes it will still be better to build a boot as the first item, which significantly increases the mobility of your champion) the third key element in our build is Eclipse Eclipse (Gain a shield and deal bonus damage).

Maybe now it's time to think about upgrading your boot, invest in Ravenous Hydra Ravenous Hydra (Attacks deal bonus damage in a area). You may want to replace it with Stasis Enchant Stasis Enchant (Turn invulnerable), it all depends on your playstyle and the situation on the battlefield.

The remaining last three items are situational, of course you can use the example builds above. But for a more effective game you will need to pay attention to the situation on the battlefield.

For runes, you should pick Conqueror Conqueror (Gain stacks of AD or AP when hitting a champion with separate attacks or abilities. Stacks up to 6 times. When fully stacked, gain bonus Omnivamp (Adaptive).) as your keystone, followed by Brutal Brutal (Attacks deal bonus damage to enemy champions.), Coup de Grace Coup de Grace (Increases damage dealt to enemy champions with low Health.) and Legend: Alacrity Legend: Alacrity (Gains Attack Speed.) in the primary tree, as well as Bone Plating Bone Plating (Reduces incoming damage.) in the secondary tree.
